THE CURRENT leader in the Dog World/Arden Grange Top Dog competition is Marion Ward-Davies, Julie Brown and Tim Hutchings' Boxer Ch Winuwuk Lust At First Sight.
As one might expect at this stage, there are several dogs close up at the head of the table, all of whom have made a very exciting start to the show season: the Boxer Lust At First Sight, Maltese Gold Ring, Lakeland Terrier For Your Eyes Only and Tibetan Terrier Sonny-Lamleh, each of whom also heads their respective group. The Maltese was last year's overall runner-up.
Also at the head of their groups are the Cardigan Corgi Picture This, Vizsla Bear Itn Mind, who has been top gundog for the past three years; and Norwegian Elkhound ISpy.
Two more familiar faces head the rare breeds and imported register sections: the Tibetan Mastiff Yogananda and Bergamasco Alve.
